We did the tourist thing yesterday and saw several temples and other sites, several of which are considered world heritage sites. We also were able to watch cremation ceremonies beside the river and the ashes go into the river after.
It is not surprising to see cows, goats and yes even monkeys all over the place, oh and a healthy population of stray dogs.
It was a long day but incredible to see it.
