Kathmandu arrival!!!

Success! 3 flights 2 nights and 7,500 miles and now I'll be in Kathmandu for 2 nights before heading up into the mountains by plane on Tuesday morning weather permitting. Even my bag made it... Bonus.

Best way to describe the ride from the airport to the hotel was part bumper cars, fast and furious with a sprinkle of verbal sparring and constant horns. No mistaking Kathmandu for a normal city. All the buildings are in some state of construction or deconstruction. Roads tend to be paved but not necessarily, and they drive British style.

Hoping for a good night sleep and not staring at the ceiling at 3am with the 10:45 minute time change.
